Teacher Eddy Awards 2010

It's the Oscars for our teachers! Congratulations to our 2010 Teacher Eddy Award Recipients.

The LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Loyola Marymount University recognized the outstanding contributions of teachers from all of the local public, private and parochial schools during the 27th Annual Teacher Eddy Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 20th.  Each year the Chamber of Commerce Education Committee honors teachers all over the community.This years honorees from our public schools are: 

• Cowan Elementary: Kathleen Fitzpatrick

• Kentwood Elementary: Chase Rosenfield

• Loyola Village Elementary: Heide Jenkins

• Orville Wright Middle School: Kimberly Dana, Kaj Johnson

• Paseo del Rey Natural Science Magnet School: Wende Wawerchak

• Westchester High School: Fred Page, Danielle Paul

• Westport Heights Elementary: Christine Grams

Each teacher will receive a crystal Eddy Award, made possible by a donation from Playa Vista. In addition, teachers and principals were eligible for a series of prizes at the event.  Congratulations to our fabulous teachers!
