Student Performance

Westport Heights has high academic standards and expectations for all students. All students are administered school-wide assessments in the areas of reading, writing and math. Fourth & fifth grade students are assessed in science. The results from these assessments drive the academic curriculum and are used to promote student achievement in alignment with the California State Standards at each grade level. Our current API growth score is 751. This past year we met our Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) in Language Arts and Math for all children.

Test scores alone should not measure student performance. We invite you to visit our campus and see how students from diverse backgrounds interact, learn and achieve.

Staff Composition

All of our teachers are fully credentialed and are highly qualified according to No Child Left Behind standards. Credentials are available upon request.
